This week is National School Counselor Week. We want to give a huge shout-out to our two counselors who daily show our students and faculty what being a Jaguar looks like. They continuously support our students: always willing to lend a listening ear, to give advice, and to inspire our students to obtain their career goals. They also ensure our kids have a safe and effective learning environment. Not only do they help our kids, they also give a helping hand to their co-workers.

McCrory School District Board will meet this Wednesday (2/5/25) at 10 am.
MES will hold an award assembly on Friday, February 7th, in the gym.

If you know anyone who wants to attend McCrory School District for the 25/26 school year and live out of the district, let them know they must fill out the school choice paperwork. School will be back in session tomorrow Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, with normal start times. We can't wait to see everyone!
The forecast predicts the possibility of snow beginning late Thursday 1/9/25 and continuing into Friday. In the event of school closure or early dismissal, the McCrory School District will use our call notification system to share updates and post the latest information on our social media pages and website. As of now, we plan to be in school at regular hours today. Please consider having a plan in place in the event of an early dismissal due to changes in the weather forecast. The basketball games scheduled for tonight at KIPP Delta have been moved to February 6th. Stay safe, and thank you for your understanding.

All 7th and 8th grade students should report to the MHS Cafeteria for first period tomorrow. (1/7/25) Everyone else will report to their first-period teacher like normal.
